PRINCE ALBERT OLIVE FESTIVAL

This year the Prince Albert Olive Festival has a whole new feel to it, and one that should not be missed!  It is focusing on quality food, wine, music and crafts.  Different venues will be hosting different bands ranging from country, steel, rock 'n roll, folk and jazz.  There will be great emphasis on the quality of food sold as opposed to the chip on a stick and boerewors roll.

Coach tours will take you into the Prince Albert Valley where you can enjoy wine and olive oil tastings.  Take a tour to the dairy where award winning cheeses are still made by hand.  Listen to stories on the ghost walk.  Examine the stars through large telescopes.  Perhaps you'd like to partake in the olive pip spitting competition, or the strongman competition, or in a game of street chess.  There is a cycle race through breath-taking scenery.

Prince Albert is renown for its great hospitality.  It's a small town with a big heart.  All of this together with the energy of the majestic Swartberg Mountains which lend themselves as the picturesque backdrop of our beautiful little town,  equals the magic potion to strip you of your city stresses and give you the peace and tranquility that your soul longs for.

Don't miss out, be sure to book your accommodation early.
